@Dan H

I'm about 1/3 through the first Paxton Locke book (Fade) and I have a question.

Exactly what does "PUSH" do?

You probably made the right choice. Lucas is the more petty individual.

He and I share a hometown and high school...
When he wanted to film American Graffiti, the town council would not give him permits to film in certain areas of town. So he had to film a movie about growing up in modesto...over by San Jose.
It pissed him off so much he refused to even acknowledge Modesto as his hometown for about 40 years, lol

Oh yeah..the reason I jumped into the thread!!

How are book sales going?
My son has been pressuring me to finally finish mine. He doesn't understand that I just ain't feeling it right now and outside pressure doesn't motivate, it just makes it worse, lol.

It’s very much a roller coaster. Some months it pays the mortgage, other months it pays the cable bill. Just depends on how effective the marketing plan of the moment is or if I’ve had a recent new release.

Amazon is currently fighting a war against AI-generated stuff, so it will be interesting to see how that turns out. They capped the number of manuscript uploads at 3/day. I guess people were generating dozens of books at a time and throwing them up Willy nilly.
