Paul Onuachu sets another record with Trabzonspor
Paul Onuachu continues to shine for Trabzonspor. By netting his 18th goal of the season against Karagümrük, the Nigerian striker extended his scoring streak to six consecutive matches—a club record.
No foreign player in Trabzonspor history had ever scored in six Süper Lig games in a row before. The previous best streaks belonged to ***** and Henrique, who each managed five consecutive matches.
Onuachu also eclipsed the personal record of his coach, Fatih Tekke, who had previously scored in a maximum of five consecutive matches for the club. In addition to his goal, the Nigerian provided an assist, further underlining his central role in Trabzonspor’s season.
