If the Atlanta Falcons make just one more move before the 2026 NFL season begins, they should look to add another wide receiver to a unit that's dominated by Drake London and otherwise consists of unproven question marks.
If they go the free agent route there are still some big names available, including Stefon Diggs, Deebo Samuel and five-time All-Pro Tyreek Hill, who previously played with Tua Tagovailoa on the Miami Dolphins.
If those three prove too costly to sign, the Falcons could try to trade for a WR2. One name to watch on that front is Kayshon Boutte of the New England Patriots, where he reportedly has requested a trade - according to CBS Sports.
Boutte (5-foot-11, 197 pounds) came into the league as a sixth-round draft pick in 2023 out of LSU, where he totaled 1,781 yards and 16 touchdowns in 27 games. In his rookie season Boutte barely saw the field, but he's been production over the last two seasons, averaging around 38 catches, 570 yards and 4.5 touchdowns.
Those are very strong numbers for a WR3, but keep in mind he only saw an average of 57 targets per season. In Atlanta Boutte would likely see more touches and could expect to boost his production as a result.
Other trade candidates at wide receiver include disgruntled San Francisco 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk, Keon Coleman of the Buffalo Bills and Jerry Jeudy of the Cleveland Browns.
