The Super Bowl-bound New England Patriots will hold a send-off rally on Sunday, Feb. 1, as the team prepares to leave for Santa Clara, California – the site of the Feb. 8 clash with the Seattle Seahawks.
Here's what to know about the Sunday morning rally:
Gates at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, will open at 9 a.m., with the rally set to begin at 9:30 a.m., according to an announcement by the team. The event is scheduled to last nearly two hours, when the team will board buses to TF Green Airport in Warwick for its cross-country flight.
The event will feature a musical performance by the Dropkick Murphys, a performance by the Patriots cheerleaders, as well as appearances by Patriots alumni. Patriots ownership, head coach Mike Vrabel, as well as team captains are scheduled to address the crowd.
Sponsors of the event include Netflix’s upcoming movie, "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man," Hood, Bud Light, Dunkin, Plymouth Rock, Toyota, Hellmann’s, and Keches Law.
Bud Light is also dropping hundreds of Super Bowl LX kegs at Gillette Stadium and giving fans (21 years of age and older) a chance to win beer money or two tickets to attend Super Bowl LX. The first 300 ticketed fans (aged 21 or older) to check in at Bud Light’s on-site activation on the plaza will be entered to win these special prizes.
This event is free of charge, but you will need a ticket for admittance into the stadium. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. According to the team, the ticket registration link will be published Thursday morning (Jan. 29) on Patriots.com and Patriots social channels. A live stream of the event will also be available at Patriots.com.
Super Bowl LX will take place Sunday, Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, between the Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. Kick-off is set for 6:30 p.m. New England is advancing to the big game after beating the Denver Broncos for the AFC Championship, while Seattle topped the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC title.
