The Patriots will have five primetime games in the upcoming season that includes two Thursday night matchups.
New England opens up the 2026 season on Wednesday, Sept. 9 in a Super Bowl rematch against the Seattle Seahawks. The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m.
After a Week 7 Thursday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears, the Patriots will play the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13, the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14 and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15.
Here are the times and dates for each primetime game:

Last season, the Patriots had four primetime games. They were originally scheduled for three, but their Week 16 game against the Baltimore Ravens was flexed from 1 p.m. to the Sunday Night slot.
The Patriots will also travel abroad again this season with a Week 10 matchup against the Detroit Lions scheduled to take place in Germany.
