Maybe the New York Jets should've tried drafting Kylian Mbappe one of these years.

Because right now, the AFC East bottom dwellers are being made to look quite bad by a combined stat that involves the New England Patriots as well as France's World Cup superstar Mbappe.

The key here is that Mbappe and France have played twice at the Pats' stadium during the World Cup.

During the group stage, they defeated Norway.

Then in the quarterfinal, they knocked off Morocco.

France is on to the semifinal, where they'll play Spain on Tuesday.

There are no more World Cup games in Boston, and Mbappe and his compatriots went 2-0 there during this tournament.

That's more wins than the Jets have at Gillette Stadium since 2011.

The Jets are 1-14 in their last 15 games on the road in New England, playing there once a year.

And yeah, when that stat hit social media, it went incredibly viral:

Of course, the Patriots have been quite good in almost every season since 2011. But yeah, you'd think the Jets could've had a few more wins in that stretch.

Instead, the Jets continue to try and solve all their woes, while Mbappe is proving himself to be one of the best players in World Cup history. It's certainly no surprise that his ability has worked out just fine in Boston.
