The New England Patriots will have their work cut out for them in 2026.

According to the NFL, the Patriots will have the fifth most challenging strength of schedule for the 2026 NFL season, with an opponent win percentage of .531 percent from last season.

The Patriots’ official schedule has yet to be released, although all of their opponents have been revealed this offseason. New England will play eight games at home and nine on the road.

The Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills will pose the biggest threats to New England at home. The Patriots will face seven daunting matchups on the road against the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Bills.

The Patriots are looking to win the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2018 season in 2026. New England lost to the Seahawks in the Super Bowl last season after going 14-3 in 2025 with a perfect 8-0 record on the road in the regular season.
