The Carolina Panthers are already dealing with injury concerns.

On the eve of kicking off training camp Wednesday at Bank of America Stadium, the Panthers announced right tackle Taylor Moton was diagnosed with blood clots in a lung and will open 2026 on the non-football injury list.

Moton, who will miss the start of the regular season, has been receiving treatment since learning of the situation in late June.

Starting cornerback Jaycee Horn (foot) also will start on the non-football injury list.

Without starting left tackle Ikem Ekwonu (knee), who is not expected back until at least the second half of the season, the Panthers' offensive line likely will start the regular season with two new tackles.

The Panthers drafted Monroe Freeling in the first round of last April's draft and signed veteran Rasheed Walker via free agency. Freeling, who was working at left and right tackle throughout the offseason training activities, logged 257 snaps at right tackle for Georgia.

Horn's injury does not appear serious. According to Panthers.com, he cut his foot and received stitches. He is expected back early in camp.
