The Carolina Panthers were dressed to the fifty-nines when rolling into Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on Thursday night.

Tonight, the reigning NFC South champions will help kick off the 2026 NFL preseason—as they take on the Arizona Cardinals in the annual Hall of Fame Game from Canton, Ohio. And the reason they're there is former linebacker and franchise great Luke Kuechly, who is set to be enshrined on Saturday.

To honor Kuechly, some players—including quarterback Kenny Pickett and linebacker Claudin Cherelus—were wearing the Carolina legend's Carolina blue jersey when heading into the stadium.

Kuechly pieced together a highly-decorated eight-year pro career—one that included the 2012 AP Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, the 2013 AP Defensive Player of the Year honors, five first-team All-Pro nods, two second-team All-Pro nods and seven Pro Bowl selections. He also helped the Panthers to three NFC South titles (2013 to 2015) and their second-ever Super Bowl appearance.
