The Carolina Panthers may be hopeful about the status of one of their very top defenders here in Week 15.
Cornerback Jaycee Horn, who missed the team's Week 13 win over the Los Angeles Rams due to a concussion, was listed a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough. He and inside linebacker Claudin Cherelus were sidelined from the victory after sustaining head injuries in the Week 12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Head coach Dave Canales offered up an update on both following the session.
"They are still in the protocol," Canales stated. "They're doing great, they're making strides, they're clearing all the things we need them to. And so, we have one more day to get out there now in pads to be able to do some more movement and making sure we do the right thing for them—getting all the information we can from them and their movement.
"But they were able to participate in a limited fashion today and we'll ramp it up a little bit more to see if we can get them out there."
Horn's career-high five interceptions are tied for the second-most in the NFL this season.
