On Thursday night, the Carolina Panthers used the 19th overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft on University of Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling. And it's safe to say that the organization is rather content with their decision.
President of football operations and general manager Dan Morgan said the second-team All-SEC member was simply too good to pass up.
Head coach Dave Canales is excited to get the 21-year-old blocker into the fold to compete.
Heck, we even learned that quarterback Bryce Young is amped up about his new 6-foot-7, 315-pound bodyguard.
But how is the Carolina faithful feeling about their team's latest first-round pick? Are they looking forward to having a promising hog molly in the mix, or are they uninspired by the uncertainty of his role for the upcoming campaign?
Here are some of the best reactions to the Panthers' selection of Freeling . . .

Drafting an OL is inherently boring. It just is. To me at least.
But I understand the move for the #Panthers. Makes sense!
Freeling could be a beast.

Smart pick especially with Freelings upside and no long term LT #KeepPounding

Monroe pick was like buying new tires... Was there something else you'd rather spend your money on? Sure, but this was a smart move long term...

I’ve had time to reflect, If Monroe works out Bryce has his LT of the future. Dan needs to cook up the rest of the draft cause we need to be a playoff team at minimum next year

This is about to be one of those picks we look back and ten years and laugh at how mad the fanbase was when the pick came in
