The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a dire need for linebacking help heading into the offseason. Lavonte David remains up in the air, SirVocea Dennis has not been the player they hoped for, and the depth behind them isn't much to look at, either, in terms of production. So, the team made an agreement to sign Alex Anzalone from the Detroit Lions as he completes his homecoming to Florida, but what if they get Lavonte David back, too?

Until they know for sure, they have to remain flexible on the market, but one of those options is now gone, and it has gone to the Carolina Panthers. Linebacker Devin Lloyd is in agreement to sign with the Bucs division rival to help their continued overhaul of the defense.

The Panthers previously added Jaelen Phillips in free agency as well, which has them in the upper echelon of classes this offseason.

Lloyd was seen as a fit for the Bucs, but they now have to look for David to return, as the market is now depleted. As for the NFL Draft, there are some pieces, but by the time the Bucs are on the clock at pick 15 the top tier of talent should be drafted well before.
