The Carolina Panthers will be wearing their hard hats this summer . . . and the next.
As announced on Wednesday, fans will not be permitted to attend the team's training camp practices for both the 2025 and 2026 seasons due to construction at their practice fields.
The team released the following statement on the matter this morning:
Per Joe Person of The Athletic, the construction relates to the Panthers' new indoor practice facility—which will be completed in phases to maximize field space for the team. Person also noted that the organization did not consider returning to Wofford College, the site of their training camps from 1995 to 2023, for their upcoming sessions.
The Panthers, starting in 2024, moved their training camp to the practice fields across from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
