Patrice Beaumelle
Patrice Beaumelle has been appointed as Angola's head coach, effective September 29, 2025, succeeding Pedro Gonçalves. The French tactician steps in to lead the Palancas Negras through the final rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
According to several reliable sources, Beaumelle has signed a two-year contract with the Angolan Football Federation. He takes over from Pedro Gonçalves, who was dismissed following disappointing results in the World Cup qualifiers.
