The Green Bay Packers’ full schedule release has dropped, and as we noted at the time, the Packers got a relatively easy schedule before Week 5. That’s a notable week, because it will be the week that players who return from the physically unable to perform list are first able to return to the field on gamedays. With pass-rusher Micah Parsons still rehabbing his ACL tear, that’s meaningful to the Packers.

According to teams’ win totals, per Warren Sharp, the Packers have the third-easiest schedule in the league in the first four weeks of the season, only behind the Kansas City Chiefs, whose quarterback Patrick Mahomes might also start the year on the PUP list, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Green Bay’s opponents over the first four weeks of the season will be the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Week 5, when Parsons will likely return to the field for the Packers for game action, will be at home against the Chicago Bears, followed by a Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys — Parsons’ former team. Just looking at the schedule, it sure seems like Green Bay got a break with the timing of the Parsons injury.

Congrats to the Gold Package members who are getting that Bears game, too. Gold Package will the Packers’ home contest against both the Bears and Minnesota Vikings this year, while the Green Package ticket holders only get a Week 18 divisional matchup against the Detroit Lions this season. The Green Package gets two Thursday Night Football games, two Sunday Night Football games, that TBD kickoff against the Lions and just one non-night game this year.
