The Green Bay Packers are reportedly trading edge rusher Rashan Gary to Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple reportson Monday.

Speculation that the Packers could part ways with Gary began after he posted a goodbye message to the team on March 6, before the reported decision to trade him.

“When I got the call in 2019, it was one of the greatest moments of my life, and it always will be, “Gary posted. “The opportunity to represent Green Bay and Packers Nation across the country and around the world is something I will never forget. Like all chapters in life, this one has come to an end.”

That post was quickly deleted, and it was later reported by multiplesources after March 6 that Gary's Instagram had been hacked.

Gary was drafted by the Packers with the 12th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The 28-year-old is coming off his second consecutive season with 7.5 sacks and finished last season with 45 tackles, 1 forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 16 games.
