GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers’ quarterback situation is improving.

The club reported on its injury report that Jordan Love practiced on a limited basis for a second straight day and is listed as questionable for the Dec. 27 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Practice was not open to the media and so it’s not known how much Love did in practice, but players said on Dec. 24 that their quarterback handled most of the No. 1 offense’s snaps. The final step for Love to be removed from the concussion protocol is for an independent neurologist to clear him

Love was knocked out of the Packers’ 22-16 overtime loss to the Chicago Bears on Dec. 20 after taking a head-to-head hit and being diagnosed with a concussion. He took part in a walk-through Dec. 23 and would have been estimated to be a limited participant had it been a full practice.

Meanwhile, backup quarterback Malik Willis, who is nursing a sore right shoulder suffered at the end of regulation against the Bears and was absent from practice Dec. 24 because of illness, was a limited participant and listed as questionable.

Here’s an update on the status of other injured Packers players:

Running back Josh Jacobs

Josh Jacobs, who played just 28 snaps against the Bears, and carried 12 times for 36 yards and caught two passes for 12 yards, practiced for a third straight day on a limited basis.

He did not have an injury designation on the injury report, which means he is expected to play.

Right tackle Zach Tom

Veteran tackle Zach Tom missed the Bears game with back and knee injuries and did not practice the entire week.

He is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Second-year pro Jordan Morgan started for Tom and would probably be the starter if Tom can’t play.

Safety Evan Williams

Another starter who missed the Bears game, safety Evan Williams was back on the practice field all three days, taking part on a limited basis.

Williams said he was doing better and was hopeful he could play against the Ravens.

He is listed as questionable.

Tight end Josh Whyle

Tight end Josh Whyle, who suffered a concussion against the Denver Broncos on Dec. 14 and missed the Bears game, was a full participant in practice.

He does not have an injury designation and is expected to play.

Linebacker Kristian Welch

Veteran linebacker Kristian Welch (ankle) did not practice all week and is listed as out.

Bo Melton

One of the players struck by illness, receiver Bo Melton missed a third straight day of practice.

He is listed as questionable.

Nose tackle Quinton Bohanna

Nose tackle Quinton Bohanna was a full participant and is expected to play.

Receiver Romeo Doubs

After injuring his wrist against the Bears on an onside kick, Doubs was a full participant all three days of practice and has no injury designation.
