GREEN BAY − Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon has been named to the Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Jan. 27.
Nixon, a two-time first-team All-Pro at kick returner, earned the first Pro Bowl selection of his career as a replacement for the Seahawks’ Devon Witherspoon, who is playing in the Super Bowl.
This past season, Nixon started a career-high 17 games for the Packers. He finished the season with 72 total tackles (58 solo), three tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, an interception and a career-high 17 passes defensed. Nixon's lone interception came as a game-saving pick in the Packers' 28-21 win over the Chicago Bears on Dec. 7. His team-high passes defensed finished tied for sixth in the league and were the most by a Packer in a season since Jaire Alexander recorded the same feat in 2019.
Nixon had an expanded role in 2025 after the Packers moved on from Alexander and Eric Stokes. Nixon, who’s been with the Packers since 2022, played in every game and felt his first season as the top cornerback was successful.
“I think I played really well this year, accomplished all my goals that I set always, like I always tell you guys,” Nixon told reporters after the season. “Set the standard for myself, but I think I played really good this year.”
Micah Parsons, who is recovering from ACL surgery, was the only other Packers player named to the Pro Bowl this season.
