The Green Bay Packers set off on their first road trip of the 2026 season on Wednesday, with the team's plane headed for Pittsburgh ahead of Thursday night's preseason opener against Aaron Rodgers, Mike McCarthy and the Steelers.
The trip to Pittsburgh is the first of 10 scheduled road trips for the Packers in 2026, not including any potential postseason games. Matt LaFleur's team has two road preseason games (the other in Denver next week) and eight regular season games away from home (including the season opener in Minneapolis on Sept. 13).
The Packers posted 48 photos of players preparing to depart Green Bay on Wednesday. Next stop: Pittsburgh.
The game will be broadcast across the Packers TV Network and Packers Radio Network. The live broadcast will also be available via NFL Network. The Packers and Steelers have played in the preseason 26 times previously.
