The first round of the 2025 NFL draft is almost here for the Green Bay Packers and the 31 other NFL teams. Soon, the page will turn on mock drafts for the 2025 cycle. So why not four more Packers-specific mocks?

Each member of the staff at Packers Wire went through PFF's mock draft simulator and did a 7-round mock for the Packers. Here are the individual results:

Harmon and Higgins would be a dream start for the Packers. Harmon fell to No. 23, which is possible, and we moved up slightly to get Higgins in the second round. It's possible -- Harmon is currently the No. 27 player on the consensus board; Higgins is No. 49. Getting a true disruptor in the defensive front and a reliable, versatile pass-catcher in the first two rounds would be huge. Both could be important rookie contributors. From there, we addressed needs at corner and edge rusher with two Packers-y picks in Williams and Gillotte. Moving back in the third round gained us another Day 3 selection. The next three picks were devoted to the offensive line, where competition is required now and long-term needs should probably be addressed. Armstrong is a big, athletic pass-catcher and worth a seventh-round flier. Hancock is another safety/nickel prospect who could have gone earlier and would add even more competition in the secondary. I would have liked to get another defensive lineman from this deep class, but it didn't work out

Overall, I feel pretty good about this mock. Harmon and Tuimoloau are extremely talented prospects who come from premier programs and could contribute right away at positions that need reinforcements. Royals in the third round felt like tremendous value and filled a need for the Packers. The Utah State WR checks a lot of the Packers' boxes in terms of his size, speed, and being a Senior Bowl standout. Riley is a fun prospect with a ton of upside. Jaire Alexander is likely on his way out, so why not replace one former Cardinal with another? Ty Robinson would be a fun Day 3 addition because of his versatility in playing on the edge and along the interior. With the final three picks, I went with traits (McCoy) and players who have been to Green Bay on official top-30 visits in Marshall and Cooper. Both players would have a realistic chance of making the roster or being practice squad stowaways.

I am pretty locked in on Maxwell Hairston being Green Bay’s first pick at this point, and in this scenario, the draft played out perfectly as the Packers were able to move back to pick 33 in a trade with the Browns and accumulate some additional picks, before selecting Kentucky’s lightning quick corner. There was a steep fall off in the talent available at defensive tackle somewhere in the second round, and as the board started to get thin, it was time to use the extra draft capital to get up and select Tyleik Williams, helping to replace T.J. Slaton’s run game in the contributions in the short term and potentially provide a three-down impact in the future. The picks of Royals and Horton restock the pass catching cupboard for Jordan Love and add some more speed to the offense while Christian Watson is out. Depth was the name of the game on Day 3, with picks at EDGE, linebacker, cornerback and a classic Brian Gutekunst "triple up" on the offensive line to add competition all over the roster. Sorrell and Simon are two of the more underrated players in this entire draft. Of note: this class includes five prospects who took pre-draft visits to Green Bay.
