AUSTIN, TX — As the first inning turned into the second, the skies darkened and the wind picked up at Red & Charline McCombs Field.

Then, minutes later, came the rain.

Second-ranked Oklahoma and No. 4 Texas' first of a three-game series is in a weather delay after three innings Friday night as the Sooners lead the Longhorns 2-0 after an Ella Parker two-run homer in the first.

Despite allowing two runs, Longhorns ace Teagan Kavan has struck out seven in three innings.

There is no lightning in the area as of now.

This story will be updated.
