Tuttle junior and OU baseball commit Hunter Watson struck out 21 batters as he tossed a seven-inning no-hitter in a 10-1 victory over Bridge Creek on Monday.
Watson walked just one batter and didn't allow an earned run as Tuttle notched its first of two wins and claimed the District 4A-2 title.
But Watson's big day didn't end with the sensational performance on the mound.
In Game 2, an 11-1 victory for Tuttle, Watson hit a home run, completing the sweep.
Watson has been committed to OU since August 2022. He missed some games earlier this year due to injury. Tuttle has a 24-6 record.

It’s been a strong season so far for Chickasha senior golfer Brock Jerman.
The Central Oklahoma signee has played in eight tournaments, placing atop the leaderboard in half of them.
With regionals set for next Wednesday, Jerman has his sights on going for first state title.
“It’s really cool watching him not only when he’s got it going but also when he doesn’t have it going – how he does things and stuff,” Chickasha coach Chad Randle said. “He’ll be successful when he gets done. He’s going on to UCO, too, but he’s had a pretty solid year. But most of it’s not going to matter — it all depends on how the postseason stuff goes. With golf, you hope you kind of get hot at the right time.”
Jerman, who placed fifth at the Class 4A state tournament last year and has won 11 tournaments during his high school career, has had some great performances this season.
Among them was at the Class 5A boys state preview last month at Muskogee Country Club, where he won with a 69, and the Class 6A-5A Saints Shootout on April 7 at Earlywine Golf Course, where Jerman and Choctaw star and OU signee Preston Albee — the defending Class 6A state champion — both shot a 70. They were tied atop the leaderboard, although Albee officially placed first as he won the tiebreaker.
