Othmane Maamma, Nantes’ top attacking target?
Nantes FC is looking to bolster its attack and has set its sights on Othmane Maamma, the 20-year-old Moroccan winger currently playing for Watford. According to Foot Mercato, negotiations have begun between the two clubs, while LOSC is also in the race.
Maamma, who was the breakout star of the last U20 World Cup where he was named best player, already has Ligue 1 experience from his time at Montpellier. The young Moroccan is keen on a change of scenery to maximize his chances of making the World Cup squad this summer under Ahmed Kantari.
This season in the Championship, he has played 16 matches, scored 3 goals, and provided 1 assist. Under contract until 2029 and valued at €1.3 million, Watford is reportedly demanding more than €10 million to let him go.
