I don't understand why the hell you would want Butler if you are giving up KD.

I mean it would not surprise me if KD has made it know he won't resign, which is fine but you need to trade him for young assets not ancient ones.

I'm not wanting Butler but it appears the Suns have been his preferred destination for a long time so I presume some groundwork has been laid.

If some other team swooped in and got him, I would be pleased. The Suns need to get younger.

.

kd doesn't have the no trade clause but he's og enough to have input on where he goes - if golden state is willing to rid themselves of draymond that's the spot - kd loves being loved - that's where he is adored
Look KD isn't stupid, I think he knows just as much as the fans that this team is going nowhere. He is ready to move on.

The only reason we are his preferred destination is Ishbia is the only one stupid enough to guarantee him a max extension.

This may still be the case. We have no control over that.

I'm just hoping if the Suns trade Durant, they make it worthwhile because that trade wiped out the Suns assets.

I could understand it (but not agree) if the Suns were keeping KD but if not? Agree. Please someone swoop.

Butler’s value is so low that he’d basically be salary filler. Anything else the Suns get in the deal would be like a regular KD trade. It would be bizarre but I kinda get the premise

Per Gerald Bourguet, it still sounds like Jimmy Butler is the Suns primary target.

Taxes. What taxes? The Suns owe about twice as much as any other team.

Golden State was way up there before shedding salary. Now some reports are that Golden State is willing to spend whatever it takes before Curry is done. Wouldn't be shocked if they skyrocket payroll again via moves.

You're way early. Deadline is 3pm Eastern on Thursday.

We also don't have a draft pick so lottery is out.
