I'm no lawyer but based on my understanding of defamation suits I wouldn't think this has a chance in hell of succeeding.
I would figure he'd be more likely to go on a carefully crafted apology tour to try to salvage his reputation, not sure what he expects to get out of this.

Ol Pat just needs to get a copy of those dick pics brett sent to that jets staffer...and let it be known they plan to submit them as evidence... not to defame, but to show a clear history and pattern of behavior.
