The Dolphins are taking on a $23.8M dead money cap hit with the release of Bradley Chubb.

The Dolphins are also expected to move on from Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa which could leave them with $100M in dead cap next season.

Arch Manning you ARE a Miami Dolphin.

The #Dolphins preference has been to find a trade partner for Tua Tagovailoa.

A cut is possible in the end. But that has been their preference.

My understanding is new regime doesn’t want it to drag too long.

The pending releases of ED Bradley Chubb, WR Tyreek Hill and G James Daniels combines to open up $45.5M of 2026 cap space for the #Dolphins. An expected roster purge in Miami has begun

Releasing Tyreek Hill, Bradley Chubb, James Daniels and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine clears $66.98 million and over $56 million in 2026 cap space. One or more could be held until March 11 for additional cap savings. Roster reset underway in Miami.

Because he was released from his contract, Tyreek Hill becomes a free agent and is immediately eligible to sign with another team.

While it's unclear when Hill intends to find a new home, he does not have to wait until March 13th like free agents to be on expiring deals.

Before anyone says it, he won't and we don't want him.

Don't they have a RB that's pretty good that some guy on this board is obsessed with?

You have to feel for the guys still there as it says they are basically doing what we did when Monti became GM and let talent walk to rebuild, hopefully for Achane they are better at doing it than we are or he's going to be on a terrible team again. He's in his last contract year so they will either trade him or extend him and my guess is that means extend him.

Devon Achaine would add some much needed speed. That will probably need to come in the draft.

I would never shut up if we got Achane so probably best that we don't. THey apparently took offers for him before the trade deadline but they wanted a 1st round pick and nobody offered. Great player in his prime but you can't give up a #1 pick for a RB, especially a guy who does have a history of being nicked up.

Closest thing I've seen to Terry Metcalf in my lifetime, my all time favorite player. Even more like Terry than Eric was, and faster. But my guess is they extend him.

: The Broncos and Chiefs are the two strongest favorites to sign free agent receiver Tyreek Hill, per @Kalshi

Denver has a 74% chance, with Kansas City at a 55% chance. Who will sign @cheetah?
