OSAA track and field state meet results from Eugene area (May 28)

The Oregon high school spring sports postseason is here, and the track and field state meet begins its annual run at Hayward Field in Eugene.

First up the initial day for the 3A, 2A and 1A classifications May 28. Those athletes complete their state meet in the late afternoon and evening May 29 following the first day for the 6A, 5A and 4A classes.

The Register-Guard will have results and highlights throughout the day, so come back and follow along.

2A boys​

2A girls​

3,000: Alyse Glenn, Central Linn

Discus: Peyton Gaskey, Central Linn

Long jump: Miley Richardson, Monroe

1A boys​

3,000: Austyn Hartwig, Triangle Lake

Pole vault: Rhys Hamlow, McKenzie

Shot put: Jack Eastburn, Triangle Lake

1A girls​

Javelin: Emma Schafer, Crow
