The recruiting period is heating up in the college football world, and Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are starting to make some moves. While Monday wasn't necessarily full of fireworks, a triple-quack day is never something to ignore.

The Ducks picked up a trio of commitments to open the week, flipping 3-star WR Malachi Garlington from the Washington State Cougars, and also landing 3-star TE George VanSandt and 3-star EDGE Achilles Reyna. Though none of the players is rated as a blue-chip, they are all local Northwest prospects who will help be the backbone of this class.

Before the additions, Oregon had the No. 16 class in the 2027 cycle, but with these three pickups, they've jumped back into the top 10, now sitting at No. 8, just behind the Clemson Tigers and Virginia Tech Hokies.

There's a sense that the fun isn't going to stop anytime soon, either. We are in the middle of official visit season, and some high-profile players have been on campus over the last couple of weeks. Lanning typically does his best work in June and July, so get ready for some of those fireworks to come soon.
