We are getting closer and closer to the new EA Sports College Football 27 video game being released, and the past week has seen ratings and numbers come out for the top teams and top players in the game.

The Oregon Ducks have been released as the No. 1 overall team on the platform, with the best defense and second-best offense in the game, while quarterback Dante Moore takes the crown as the No. 1-ranked passer, and Jamari Johnson is questionably ranked as the No. 3 TE in the game.

As we move to the defensive side of the ball and focus on the defensive line ratings, it's clear that the Ducks have one of the best units in the nation.

For edge rushers, Oregon has two of the best in the game, with Matayo Uiagalelei ranked as the No. 2 EDGE in the game, rated 94 overall. Meanwhile, Teitum Tuioti isn't far behind, ranked as the No. 4 EDGE at a 92 overall.

Looking inside, the dominance for Oregon simply continues. A'Mauri Washington is rated a 93 overall and ranked as the No. 2 DT in the game, while Bear Alexander comes in as a 90 overall and is ranked as the No. 7 DT in the nation.

It's starting to make sense why the Ducks have the No. 1-ranked defense in the game, isn't it?

Early release for the game starts on July 2 for MVP+ members, and the deluxe edition of the game will be available for download on July 6. The game will officially be released worldwide on July 9.
