The Green Bay Packers made eight picks in the 2025 NFL draft, beginning with receiver Matthew Golden in the first round and finishing with offensive lineman John Williams late in the seventh round.

Want to know more about the draft class? Let's dig into the stats to help describe something interesting about each player.

Here is one stat to know about each of the Packers' eight draft picks (all stats from PFF unless otherwise noted):

WR Matthew Golden

Big play machine: Golden had a catch of at least 20 yards in 15 of 16 games for Texas last season. And guess who was the only player in the major four conferences (SEC, Big 10, ACC, Big 12) with more catches of at least 20 yards in 2024? Second overall pick and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. Over the Longhorns' final four games, Golden averaged 21.6 yards per catch and had eight catches of at least 20 yards. His speed makes him a consistent explosive play creator.

OL Anthony Belton

87.3 pass-blocking grade: Among college football offensive tackles with at least 500 total snaps played in 2024 (248 qualifiers), Belton ranked sixth in pass-blocking grade. The 336-pounder allowed only 12 total pressures across 438 pass-blocking snaps. Belton finished with a pass-blocking grade above 70.0 during all four of his seasons at NC State. He's a big man who can play multiple spots and pass protect.

WR Savion Williams

40 missed tackles forced: Good luck tackling this guy. On 111 total touches in 2024, Williams broke 40 tackles -- 22 as a runner on 51 rushing attempts and 18 as a receiver on 60 catches. His rate of missed tackles forced as a runner was actually slightly better than sixth overall pick Ashton Jeanty, who forced an incredible 152 missed tackles on 375 carries last season. The Packers must find ways of getting him the ball and opportunities to make people miss.

DE Barryn Sorrell

Consistent producer: Over his final three seasons at Texas, Sorrell produced at least 30 pressures and at least 20 stops each season -- highlighting his ability to impact both the pass and run games. He peaked in 2024, creating a team-high 49 pressures and a career-high 25 stops. Sorrell is a good mix of steady and consistent and still ascending as a player.

DE/LB Collin Oliver

Wild 2023 season: Ready for a rollercoaster ride? Turn on Oliver's 2023 tape. He split time on the edge (over 400 snaps) and at off-ball linebacker (over 400 snaps) and produced 41 quarterback pressures, 49 stops, four forced fumbles and three batted passes. But he also missed 25 tackles and a had a missed tackle rate of 24.5 percent. The Packers must find a way to unlock his disruptive abilities on the edge and improve his obvious area of weakness at linebacker.

DL Warren Brinson

Dominant against Texas: Brinson's work up front doesn't always show up in the stat sheet, but it did during Texas in the SEC title game. He produced a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss, including a sack, and had another quarterback pressure. Brinson had 31 stops and 36 pressures over his final two seasons at Georgia.

CB Micah Robinson

Stingy in coverage at Tulane: A transfer from Furman, Robinson was terrific in coverage during his only season at Tulane in 2024, allowing only 22 catches and one touchdown pass over 294 coverage snaps. His passer rating against? Only 52.8. Robinson was the highest-graded player on Tulane's strong 2024 defense.

OL John Williams

Elite pass blocker: Only 22 offensive tackles played at least 400 pass-blocking snaps and allowed 12 or fewer pressures in college football last season. Williams (eight allowed, third best) and Anthony Belton (12 allowed, 17th) were in this group. So were first-rounders Armand Membou, Kelvin Banks and Josh Conerly. Like Belton, Williams is a big guy who can move and protect the passer.
