The wr fell down. Qbs make that throw all the time, only different their wr is tripping over their own feet to make a play.

If Sherfield doesn’t fall down he likely breaks it up but you can’t make that throw. In that situation a fade-away floater to a covered receiver just can’t happen.

Also, Kyler was great today and threw dimes all across the field. We got ourselves a QB.

Exactly. Hard not to throw an INT when the guy you are targeting falls down. Oh and how about Williams dropping a perfectly thrown ball. Fix the defense and draft a possession receiver and the Cards will be competitive. Patrick Peterson and “slow” Williams should fly home on their own dime

That’s what I thought initially but after watching the replay there was nothing really there. The defender was right on him before tripping.

It's a problem that we have special teams caliber players playing in vital spots at WR. Isabella has looked so so much better than Byrd or Sherfield but continues to stay on the sideline

Yea, now is the time to see what Isabella can do. These others guys look like they will be stocking grocery stores in 2 years.

The pick is on Kyler. He was the one who floated the ball deep down the field when the team was in FG position. That being said, you can't predict a WR falling down. Ultimately, Kyler needs to recognize the game situation where we can't put our ability to go up 7 at risk. It is an understandable mistake, and he will likely learn from it. Kyler was not the problem today even if he had some bad mistakes.

Agreed bad decision and just plain unlucky. The Wr trips over the DB, but it's incidental contact not a penalty at all IMO. The db doesn't lose his footing and picks it off.

But you're right he should not have made the throw.

I know. Just stating a fact.

It was unfortunate because he just hit Fitz on a perfect ball down the middle. Then they run a stupid bubble to Fitz followed by the pick to Sherfield who shouldn’t be playing. Kliff trusted his QB but they should’ve ran it at least once down there with the lead.

I don't seem to understand interference in the NFL. A TB DB has incidental contact with Sherfield and the ball is picked off. Then our defender has incidental contact with a WR and it's PI. I simply don't understand the difference, maybe it's homerism or maybe it's why a hate football at times.
