Omarr Norman-Lott selected by Chiefs in second round of 2025 NFL draft

The 90th NFL draft is taking place, Thursday-Saturday, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The NFL draft opened with the first round on Thursday and rounds 2-3 on Friday. Rounds 4-7 will conclude the NFL draft on Saturday.

Former Tennessee defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott was drafted on Day 2. He was selected in the second round with the No. 63 overall pick by Kansas City.

Norman-Lott is the ninth defensive tackle in the 2025 NFL draft.

Norman-Lott recorded 44 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, 9.5 sacks and one fumble recovery for the Vols from 2023-24. He transferred to Tennessee from Arizona State ahead of the 2023 season.

Tennessee has produced 389 NFL draft picks all time, dating to 1936.

Former Tennessee defensive lineman James Pearce Jr. was also selected in the 2025 NFL draft by Atlanta. He was picked in the first round with the No. 26 overall selection.

Pearce Jr. is Tennessee's 48th first round pick in program history.
