OM: Habib Beye reveals how he experienced his dismissal from Rennes
Habib Beye became the new coach of Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday evening. The Senegalese tactician joined OM just days after leaving Stade Rennais.
During a press conference, the Senegalese reflected on his transition from Rennes to OM.
"Rennes and Marseille are far apart; the biggest constraint was the distance. Everything needs to happen in its own time. When we managed to align the two logics, it all came together naturally. It was important for me to come before the Brest match. I arrive with just 24 hours of preparation, but also to show everyone my determination. It's in these moments that you prove your resolve. Mr. McCourt gave a very important speech to me, and we both realized we wanted to work together." he said.
