There's a lot of buzz around hockey at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The return of NHL players to the international stage for the first time since 2014 has many hockey fans excited while on the women's side, Team USA looks to get revenge for 2022's heartbreaking gold medal loss to Canada.

Hockey is set to be a big draw at the Olympics in Milan and Cortina and NBC will be broadcasting all the biggest games and moments as they usually do for their comprehensive coverage. So, with the 2026 Winter Olympics set to dominate most of February, who will be announcing the hockey games that will span the length of the competition?

Long-time NHL announcer Kenny Albert will be the main play-by-play annoucer, with Brendan Burke and Chris Vosters also picking up play-by-play duties. Eddie Olczyk (men’s analyst) and A.J. Mleczko (women’s analyst) will be alongside Albert in the booth for their respective tournaments. Brian Boucher, Anson Carter, T.J. Oshie, Jen Botterill and Angela Ruggiero will serve as analysts and Kathryn Tappen will be NBC's on-site reporter for hockey coverage.

Now you know!
