Grace Davison has set a new Irish senior and Championship record at the Irish Open Swimming Championships in Bangor.
As a result, Davison has achieved the consideration time for both the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in July and August's European Aquatics Championships in Paris.
Davison, who is a Paris Olympian and 2025 European junior medallist, improved her own 2025 record of 54.80 seconds by clocking 54.45 during the 100m freestyle heats.
The Ards swimmer is the top qualifier for Wednesday evenings 100m freestyle final, ahead of Rosalie Phelan (55.88) and Victoria Catterson (56.58).
The competition, taking place Aurora Leisure Complex, will conclude on 12 April.
