STILLWATER — With a current roster loaded with veteran slot receivers, Oklahoma State added for the future with Jabarie Thornton.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound receiver from La Vega High School in Waco, Texas, announced his commitment to the Cowboys on his X account Monday.

Thornton had a wide variety of offers, from places like Oregon, Nebraska, Baylor, Arkansas and others, but settled on OSU, where’s the first receiver in the 2026 recruiting class.

The OSU class now has eight total players with three on offense.

Thornton ideally fits in the slot, a position where the Cowboys have five players who will be juniors or seniors in the fall.
