STILLWATER — Looking to add offense and defense via the transfer portal, Oklahoma State men’s basketball coach Steve Lutz found both at the same place.

Jacob Walker and Kashie Natt, both of whom played at Sam Houston last season, committed to OSU this week.

Walker’s commitment was reported late Thursday night, making him the third player in the OSU transfer portal class. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 11.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in his first college season, but surged late in the year.

He was inserted into the starting lineup on Feb. 7 and remained there for the final 11 games, during which he averaged 17.3 points and 3.5 assists. He scored at least 12 points in each of those games, and had six or more assists three times.

Natt, whose commitment was reported Tuesday, was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in his lone season at Sam Houston. An athletic 6-foot-3 guard, Natt began his career at LSU-Alexandria.

They join North Carolina transfer Luka Bogavac, a 6-foot-6 wing, in the OSU transfer class.
