Per KFFL, Cardinal doctors discovered some previously unknown defects in Okeafor's back when they did MRIs.

Top work by the Cardinals medical staff for figuring that out before a contract offer was made.

5:46 PT: The Post-Intellingencer reports free agent DE Chike Okeafor (49ers) paid his scheduled visit to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. One issue for some teams is Okeafor's back problem. It prevented the Cardinals from making him an offer after he visited there. It prolonged his physical with the Seahawks yesterday, when he was given an MRI.

KFFL is also reporting Oronde Gadsen is close to signing with Minnesota for 3 yrs, 3 mil. He was seeking 3 yrs 4.5 mil with a 1.75 bonus.

He has missed parts of the past two seasons, but he'd be nice to have!!! Didn't the same thing end OJ MCDuffie's career?

It looks more and more like Graves will shoot to resign Jenkins and maybe Sanders and worry about other positions later. I'd like to see Frank come back for the minimum.... it only counts 450K against our cap!!!
