Ohio State tops Yale, advances to women's hockey NCAA Frozen Four

The top-ranked Ohio State women's hockey team defeated No. 8 Yale 6-1 on March 14 at the OSU Ice Rink to advance its sixth straight Frozen Four.

Ohio State is 13-4 all-time in the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes (35-4-0) join No. 2 seed Wisconsin, No. 3 seed Penn State and No. 5 seed Northeastern in this year’s Frozen Four.

Ohio State will play Northeastern in the semifinals on March 20 at Pegula Ice Arena in University Park, Pennsylvania.

Ohio State junior forward Jocelyn Amos had two goals and two assists in the game. She also led the team with 13 faceoff wins. Senior forward Sloane Matthews recorded her second two-goal performance in three games. Matthews also blocked a team-high two shots.
