The Ohio State baseball team has earned the No. 6 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Baseball tournament following a sweep of Michigan in Ann Arbor this weekend. The three games allowed the Buckeyes to overtake the Wolverines for a fifth-place tie at the end of the Big Ten regular season, with Purdue winning the tiebreaker for the No. 5 seed. It'll be the first time OSU has made the conference tournament since 2024.

The Big Ten Tournament gets underway on Tuesday, and Ohio State will be taking part in a double-elimination bracket, starting things off against No. 11 seed Washington in the fourth and final game of the day at approximately 10 p.m ET. The four top finishers of the eight-team lower-seeded elimination bracket will be placed into an eight-team single-elimination bracket to determine the conference champion. The top four seeds automatically make the single-elimination format that begins on Friday.

Should Ohio State get beyond double-elimination play, it'll play either UCLA (1), Nebraska (2), Oregon (3), or USC (4).
