Official: Massara leaves Roma


Roma have officially announced Frederic Massara’s departure.


The executive is expected to make way for Tony D’Amico who recently exited Atalanta.


“AS Roma announces that it has mutually agreed to terminate the employment relationship with Sporting Director Frederic Massara,” reads the official statement.


“The Club would like to thank Frederic for his professionalism, dedication, and contribution throughout the season. Thanks in part to his work, the Club achieved important objectives, including qualification for the next edition of the UEFA Champions League.


“I would like to thank the ownership for the opportunity to return to work in an environment to which I am particularly attached. I believe that this year the Club has created further foundations for a successful future, and I wish the entire AS Roma family every success in achieving new milestones.”, said Massara.


AS Roma wishes Frederic all the best in his future professional endeavors.”
