Carson Wentz is a world renowned divisive locker room guy. I assume JJ is pretty good in that regard.

I just hope whoever they pick plays well. They are in real danger of doing to Jefferson what we did to Fitz, sticking him with McCown and Skelton level QB's for several years of his prime.

Even if none of the guys they have now pan out they're going to win too many games to have a high enough pick to get a can't miss QB in the next few years. they are in the window right now probably the best chance Kyler will ever get to go far in the playoffs

One of my FB reels now says that the big question currently is will JJ lose the backup job to Wentz, not will he win the starting job. It says if the path continues the way the last 4 days of camp went, JJ won't even be the backup.
JJ is a mediocre talent but he’s got this weird confidence about him that turns people off unless they’re good. Similar but not identical to Rosen. The Vikings not franchising Darnold a year ago was an all time blunder.

Ok, I hate myself because this is a K9 response......how long have you been hanging out with JJ, and what has he done in your presense to say he's got this weird confidence?

If he can't play the position, does it matter?

I would imagine Wentz earned some credit last year when he played through some serious injuries while the Vikings tried to figure out what was wrong between JJ's ears.

JJ was a game manager in college who had a monster running game, an all time defense and complete access to the opposition playbook because Michigan was spying on all their opponents.

If they hadn't won the title their season would have been erased. If you cheat well enough to win it all the NCAA is hesistent to punish appropriately out of embarassment.

JJ got paid he's not going anywhere for a minute anyway. I heard questions about Wentz and his leadership but I would ask for a citation as he does. And yes I only saw this because you quoted him and peeked my curiosity. Another precious few seconds wasted.
