Just so you know, this week, the Cardinals are venturing to the site of the greatest feminist rally of our generation. Just 2 years ago, in Cleveland, Browns fans came together at the "Team Tampon Tailgate (T3 for those in know), to protest the NFL stadium bag policy.

I'm sure I'm going to regret asking this, but what was the original issue? Were women upset that their bags were being checked and sometimes people saw tampons in them? Who cares? Or were security personnel hassling the women about the tampons, in which case wtf?

That's part of the deal for any large public place where security is an issue. There's no privacy violation when women (or men, for that matter) buy tampons at a drug store. If you have security personnel snickering when they see a tampon, then that's a different matter and they need to be reprimanded.

Lets just let the women figure out for themselves what and what not about their bodies they want to share with the world.


The metal detectors sort out weapons, IMO this policy is way more about people sneaking in booze and stuff like that than actual security.

Bleh, no big deal. Anyone over the age of 13 knows what a tampon is, and a condom. Don't know why anyone would be uncomfortable with one in their bag.

A few years ago a guy (from Australia and at his first football game) brought a tent to our tailgate....we gave him a hard time about it.

After the game we came out to see him exiting the tent with some girl he just met.
