So just to get it right can we agree on following order:

  1. Defense
  2. Penalties (many of them gifted to Miami Loku getting hold, Facemasked but himself called for facemask and not even an offset)
  3. to conservative playcall on last drive
  4. Fumble TD in the first drive of the first QRT
  5. Missed FG (because we would only tie with it and still time on the clock and a D that showed couldn't stop a flue)
  6. Isabella backdrop when he had the first down in FG range and costing us the FG/TD before half

And so now lets agree on what hold us in that game:

  1. KM and his passgame and runs
  2. Hop, Fitz & Kirk
  3. Chase
  4. KK playcalling and going for it on other drives
So basically the argument is now that the D isn't the culprit of problem on this team?

But that we got to conservative on situational football where in a normal game Chase at some point break one free and didn't in this game and KM was probably exhausted already.

KM because he gifted them a TD because he tried to extand a play and a unblocked pass rusher got him?

That a 49 yard FG should be a gimme and the Kicker is meh because he was 3 feet short, not even a yard but 3 Feet.

I undersand somehow Finito's point, since gosh with 31 points against a rookie QB led team you should win. Not even one of our rookies expect KM could score more than 20 in his first two games.

But even worse, we are worse than the avarage football team on D. With 312 total yards you in 2020 the average on all teams should not score more than 21 points.

Even the best O the Seachickens would have only scored 26 and even the Miami Dolphins after our game should only score 26.8 points or 27 points overall (like the steelers). And we aren't talking about only O points, but overall so O + D + ST. And if you take Kylers gifted TD away we still gave them 27 points which is more than they should have achieved. This is an atrosicious outing by the DC and his Defense. Basically this game with a mediocre D outing should have ended 31 - 27 and probably witha 31-27 lead we would have seen a differnt ending and maybe a 34 - 27 win.

And no we scored 1 point more thent the average team should score with 31 over 30 and yes the KC, Seattle, Steelers, Tampa Bay, Baltimore and Saints average (and now the Dolphins average) would have tied or won the game. But we don't get D or ST TD so, yes thats it.

But at the end it starts and ends with Kliff and he has to figure out if he wants to keep VJ or fire him at the end of the season. Statistically after 1 1/2 season I would reccomand firing but at the end the call is made by Kliff and Keim and their future depends on it. At least Kliff for sure, because if KM stays like he is and gets better Keim will go nowehere. Because he brought in the franchise QBoF and from that point on he at least will get another chance to build a SB contender or winner, Bidwill works like this.

I have yet to see anyone make this argument. Only pointing out that there were a lot of things that contributed to the loss and that includes defense, crunch time management, KM fumble, AI short of 1st, some stupid penalties at bad times and a 49 yard FG missed short. They all played a part in us losing the game and none of it should be overlooked when passing out blame.

Yes, he has some of the blame but most users in that thread put all the blame on him. It shouldn't have come down to a tying 49 yrd field goal, period. They were moving the ball and they can't score a single point in the 4th quarter? Really?

I believe the blame is spread so I agree with you. I just thought you were saying he has no blame.
