The New York Knicks parade honoring the NBA champions in the Canyon of Heroes may be over, but the honors from New York City aren't. Per an announcement coming on Monday morning, there's more.

New York mayor Zohran Mamdani -- who delivered the epic speech thanking current and former Knicks that fans loved -- announced that Knicks players will have Manhattan streets temporarily named after them.

Specifically, there will be blue and orange street signs with their names that will be placed on streets that match those of the players' numbers (with some exceptions like for Jordan Clarkson, who wears No. 00). The honor will last for four weeks.

Which NYC streets will be named after Knicks players?

  • Sixth Avenue and West Houston Street for Jordan Clarkson (00)
  • Sixth Avenue and Bleeker Street for Dillon Jones (1)
  • Sixth Avenue and Minetta Lane for Miles McBride (2)
  • Sixth Avenue and West 3 Street for Josh Hart (3)
  • Sixth Avenue and West 4 Street for Pacôme Dadiet (4)
  • Sixth Avenue and Washington Place for Jose Alvarado (5)
  • Sixth Avenue and West 8 Street for OG Anunoby (8)
  • Sixth Avenue and West 9 Street for Kevin McCullar Jr. (9)
  • Seventh Avenue South and West 11 Street for Jalen Brunson (11)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 13 Street for Tyler Kolek (13)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 20 Street for Jeremy Sochan (20)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 23 Street for Mitchell Robinson (23)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 25 Street for Mikal Bridges (25)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 32 Street for Karl-Anthony Towns (32)
  • Sixth Avenue and West 44 Street for Landry Shamet (44)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 50 Street for Trey Jemison III (50)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 51 Street for Mohamed Diawara (51)
  • Seventh Avenue and West 55 Street for Ariel Hukporti (55)

What did Mamdani say about naming NYC streets after Knicks players?

Per the release:

“This championship is bigger than the basketball. It represents what our city is capable of when the odds are stacked against us. For as long as we live, every New Yorker will remember the feeling of our city coming together — not because of tragedy or adversity, but out of joy and happiness. With these commemorative signs, we not only honor the players who put it all on the line, never taking their foot off the gas for a single second, we honor every New Yorker who knew all along this team and this City will remain the blueprint for excellence. Knicks in five.”
