The Denver Nuggets are one of those teams around the NBA that just hasn't done enough this offseason. For a team that has a legitimate chance to win a championship every time it's on the court because of Nikola Jokic, it feels like Denver needs to be doing a lot more.

Unfortunately, because of the cap situation and ownership not wanting to spend on certain players, it isn't as easy as it might sound for the Nuggets to improve on both sides of the basketball.

Regarding a potential deal for LeBron James, it seems to make a lot of sense. If Bronny decides to stay in Los Angeles with the Lakers, that could be even more enticing for James, who reportedly wants to keep his family there throughout this final process.

According to one writer from The Athletic, that proximity to Los Angeles and Bronny is going to have an impact on what the Lakers free agent decides to do.

“James’ close friendship with Nuggets team president/governor Josh Kroenke is a convenient and positive entry point for Denver in these discussions, but the chance for the 41-year-old to play with a fellow all-time great in Jokić is seen internally as the most obvious recruiting pitch of them all. And as I detailed previously, it doesn’t hurt that Denver is known to have some of the country’s best golf courses — not to mention a two-hour, 15-minute flight to Los Angeles, where James’ family is expected to remain,” Sam Amick wrote.

From a pure basketball standpoint, it makes a lot of sense to bring a guy like James in. All he's proven throughout his career is that he's arguably the greatest player in NBA history. Now, it might not be as easy to land him as it might sound, as he could be looking for a warm-weather spot, which Denver doesn't offer.
