After a proposal took place during the 39-year-old Serbian tennis star's win in his match against China's Wu Ybing on Monday, June 29, Djokovic showed his support for the happy couple from the court.

Djokovic approached the stands where the couple was sitting and gave them a thumbs up before saying, "I want an invitation to the wedding." According to Yahoo Sports, Djokovic, who married his wife Jelena in 2014, received his own marriage proposal from a fan during the 2025 Australian Open. A spectator reportedly yelled out, "Marry me, Novak," to which the tennis star replied, "Sorry mate, I have a wife. We can have a drink, though."

After his win over Ybing on Monday, Djokovic was asked about the celebratory violin move inspired by his 8-year-old daughter, Tara, who helps her father come up with his post-match dances. Djokovic said he used the violin celebration fans have seen from him before because Tara is "still thinking about the choreography" for her father's Wimbledon celebration.
