The No. 6 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish (22-10) will take on No. 11 seed Fairfield (28-4) Saturday in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.
Notre Dame has made its fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament, and it's the 31st time that they’ve participated in the tournament. The Fighting Irish have won nine of their last 11 games heading into the tournament, but it won’t matter much this afternoon. Anything can happen in the tournament, and the Irish will have to be at their best to advance.
Notre Dame is 1-0 against Fairfield in program history, and the two schools have not tipped off against each other since 1987. They’ll break that streak, and you can find out below all the viewing information for the first-round NCAA Tournament game.
