The best triple option play of all-time might be the inside veer. I’m running it under the high sun.

NOONER FOR THE WIN

I frequently talk about my passion for a good nooner, and I believe that in certain cases, it is a necessity for some games on the Notre Dame football schedule. In 2026, we get a nooner with the perfect partner… Navy.

Honestly, if they are going to keep playing this wookie life debt of a game each season — we might as well make it an all-time nooner. Right?

CLOWN ANGER

Of all people to go running to the internet to whine about some dumb injustice by ESPN… Arkansas Athletic Director, Hunter Yurachek. This clown was the public face of one of the most ridiculous playoff snubs in the history of the CFP, and tried selling it as justice. Bow down to your master Hunter… they own you, your school, and your conference.

CUPCAKE BAKING

There was a lot of talk about the SEC saying they are “doing away with cupcake weekend” for there scheduling models in November. Obviously it was the butt of many jokes over the years, but how is that more egregious than beginning the season with 3 cupcakes? Why does any P4 program need 3 G6 games anyways?

“The Big Ten does the same thing the SEC does with cupcake weekend.

Indiana and Michigan did it for the first 3 weeks”

@dannykanell on “cupcake weekend”

P.S. I’m shocked he said this @JoshPateCFBpic.twitter.com/YMT2KuNwgh

POLITICS IS POLITICS

There could be big changes coming for college athletics in terms of congressional legislation. While there are many things attached to all of this, any changes could greatly affect everyone’s scheduling models.

The most critical piece of the Cruz-Cantwell bill is the anti-super league section.

I made @AriWasserman do math, and then I explain why the Big Ten and SEC will probably hate it. pic.twitter.com/64LvPB1E21
