EVERYONE IS GETTING THEIR SAY​

It didn’t take long for the internet to start doing its thing on Monday once the news that Notre Dame and USC are back in talks (or still talking) about renewing the rivalry in the near future. There were a number of posts, articles, podcasts, and everything else from people that wanted to make their voice heard when it comes to the Battle for the Jeweled Shillelagh.

So, instead of the usual four topics — I’m just going to post a few of these takes for you to sort through yourself.

I do want to say this, however, there is an argument that USC fans keep bringing up that is just too asinine to not call out as BS. “Notre Dame needs USC more than USC needs Notre Dame.” I’m going to be completely honest here… neither school needs the other at all. For this to be any type of point means the person or persons has completely misunderstood the meaning of the word, RIVALRY. Like — what the hell is wrong with you?
